Lorraine Cowan
Director
Regional Process Owner for IM Global
Lorraine came to Ingram Micro with the Tech Pacific acquisition in 2005 but has worked for the organisation for over 22 years. This makes Lorraine one of Ingram Micro Australia's longest serving associates.
Being part of Ingram Micro's predecessors (Imagineering and Tech Pacific) in the early days of the computer industry means that Lorraine was very much a part of the growth and development that lead the company to become a key subsidiary of a leading global IT organisation. During her time at Ingram Micro, Lorraine has held various sales management, product and category marketing roles. In her current role she represents the Asia/Pacific region for the company's IM Global multi-year business process transformation project. In support of this, Lorraine will be relocating to US corporate head office in Santa Ana during 2008 until mid 2009.
Before Ingram Micro, Lorraine managed sales staff for a retail department store in Adelaide. She moved to Sydney to start selling "new" microcomputers at the time of the launch of the IBM PC; from there she was hooked on the IT industry.
Lorraine holds a BSc (Mathematics) from University of Adelaide and a Diploma of Marketing from University of Technology. She enjoys Skiing, Astronomy and 4WD activities.
